John Baptist Kabo-Bah, CEO of Afrivoices for Climate Change, a Ghanaian NGO dedicated to enhancing the well-being and resilience of rural communities, recently engaged in a productive meeting with Christine, Executive Director of the Madison-Morgan Conservancy. Afrivoices focuses on empowering women and youth farmers through innovative and sustainable solutions, while the Madison-Morgan Conservancy is dedicated to preserving farms, forests, and cultural heritage for future generations.
The meeting, arranged through the efforts of Professor James Reap from the College of Environment and Design at the University of Georgia, facilitated an in-depth discussion between John and Christine. The dialogue was centred on understanding each organisation’s mission, exploring shared objectives, and identifying potential collaborative projects that align with their respective goals.
The meeting underscored the vital importance of conservation and community empowerment in driving sustainable development and resilience. It also laid the groundwork for potential partnerships focused on advancing environmental stewardship and boosting community resilience in both Ghana and the United States. We invite all interested parties to connect with us and explore collaborative opportunities that support our shared vision of a sustainable and thriving future.
